This is unconfirmed, but I am pretty sure that the CD cover of Dignity will look something like this. Hollywood Records has been using this picture and font style a lot when promoting Dignity, so the album cover will probably be very similar to this picture.

Overall this is a pretty good interview. The show is pretty much a standard "Morning Zoo" type program, so there wasn't anything really groundbreaking, but they did talk about some things that Hilary has never talked about before.

Hilary Duff to Perform at Gay Club

Hilary Duff will apparently be performing at British gay and lesbian club "G-A-Y" on March 10th, 2007. This according to the forthcoming events page of the G-A-Y website.

It will be interesting to see how the media and fans will react to this news. Hilary has always been known for her conservative values and I'm guessing some of her fans (and her fans' parents) might not approve of this. On the other hand this will probably gain her some credibility in her quest to prove that she and her music have really grown up.

According to the G-A-Y website, "Legends such as the Spice Girls, Donna Summer, Boyzone & Bjork have exclusively graced the G-A-Y stage – making it the only club Worldwide to offer the biggest names in pop – gay or straight. In addition regular guests include Kylie Minogue, Westlife, Blue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Geri Halliwell."

Hilary Duff will be on The View on February 8th to talk about her new album Dignity. February 8th is going to be a busy day for Hilary, as she will also be on TRL in the afternoon to premiere the video for her new single With Love.

American Idol contestant Eric Mueller butchers Hilary Duff song

Some of you American Idol fans will appreciate this.

What does Eric want to do in American Idol? In his own words: "I wanna break out of the mold. I want to take what other people have done and multiply it and then raise it to higher heights. I then basically I want to fluctuate it and reverberate it, and make the vocals blend in with the music and then also stand out from the contrast."

Eric sang Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in a high, squeaky pitch. Simon told him that it wasn't a serious performance and told him to sing it lower. Eric sang it through a second time with parts of the lyric a bit lower, but the higher parts still hit the squeaky range. Simon was about to have Eric sing it again, but lower, but Randy jumped in and said that it wouldn't help.

Eric then switched to Hillary Duff's Fly, but Simon couldn't even distinguish which song he had sang, calling him "absolutely atrocious."

After Eric left the audition room, Simon spotted on the audition form that he had been learning to sing from Randy and Paula DVD set: Ultimate Voice Coach — Learn to Sing Like a Star!. Simon tried calling Eric into the audition, but Randy and Paula were yelling at him to leave the room. Simon ran up to catch Eric during his interview with Ryan, but Randy and Paula even went so far as to sprint after Simon to block him from talking with Eric and Ryan about it. Eric excused himself and left the building during the commotion.

Hilary and Haylie in Idaho - In Touch Weekly

In Touch Weekly did a feature on Hilary and Haylie Duff for the January 29, 2007 issue. The girls were pictured in Idaho playing in the snow. Apparently they were visiting Idaho because they are thinking about buying a condo at the new Fairmont Tamarack, which is a luxury resort that will include hotel and residences. The Fairmont Tamarack is being developed by former tennis players Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.

With Love starting to get some Radio Airplay

With Love is starting to get a little bit of radio airplay, as stations across the USA begin to premiere it. As of today it has been played 21 times according to Mediabase. Hopefully people will start requesting With Love and radio stations will begin to add it to their regular rotation of songs.

I had my doubts about how much radio airplay With Love would get, but everything seems to be going good so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that With Love will be able to climb the charts and Hilary will finally have that radio hit she's been looking for.

Hilary Duff is #84 on AskMen.com Most Desirable Women 2007

Hilary Duff was named #84 on the AskMen.com list of "Most Desirable Women" for 2007. Hilary improved two spots from last year where she was ranked #86. Beyonce was ranked #1, followed by Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba. Adriana Lima and Jessica Biel round out the top 5. Other notable names include Jessica Simpson at #21 and Lindsay Lohan at #50.

I have a feeling that Hilary will be ranked a lot higher next year. She keeps getting better and better looking as she gets older. At least in my opinion.

Early Review of Dignity plus New Photoshoot Picture

British website popjustice.com got their hands on a 5 song sample CD of Hilary Duff's new Dignity album. They had positive things to say overall, calling With Love "The best song of her career" and Play With Fire "surprisingly good". They also gave mild praise to three other songs on the album, "Stranger", "Danger" and "Burn". The final verdict on the 5 song sampler was "If you liked Hilary Duff before, you will like the new stuff a lot more. If you didn’t like Hilary Duff before, you will probably think she has come on leaps and bounds. Well done everyone involved."

It's nice to see some early positive vibes from a website like this. My only concern is that this is a British site, so they might like Hilary's new Europop sound more than people will in the United States. I just hope the reviews here in North America are as positive as the British ones will be.

Dignity Australian Release Date - March 31, 2007

According to hilaryduff.com.au Hilary Duff's new album Dignity will be released in Australia on March 31, 2007.

The release date for North America is scheduled for April 3.

It's kind of surprising that Australia would get the CD before the USA, but Hilary is extremely popular Down Under, so I guess it's not that shocking.
