War Inc 8th Weekend Box Office Results

In the 8th weekend of release, War Inc made $30,195 at the box office. The movie was playing on 20 screens, down from 24 last weekend. War Inc has made a total of 515,643.

While the per theater averages have been holding steady over the past few weekends, the number of theaters the movie is playing has been declining. I expect this to continue over the next few weeks.

Hilary Duff Breaks out of her Shell

There is a good article in the Houston Chronicle about Hilary's career and her role in War, Inc. The article talks about how Hilary has been praised for her role despite mild reviews of the movie overall. "Duff's risky and frisky performance as a foul-mouthed Central Asian pop tart has many observers singing her praises. Indeed, some have gone so far as to suggest that the 20-year-old Duff upstages many of her more experienced and accomplished co-stars."

Stay Cool begins shooting July 14, 2008

Hilary Duff's new movie Stay Cool will begin shooting tomorrow, July 14th. No word on whether Hilary will be on set tomorrow or not, but either way we should probably expect to see some pics of her filming the movie pretty soon.
