Hilary Duff is one of the top-earning stars under 21 years of age. She is probably close to being the top earner. With her music, movies, fashion line and perfume, Hilary makes a ton of money. Since Hilary makes so much, it's a little puzzling why she did not make Forbes list of "Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars" under 21 years of age.
Some people are claiming that 2006 was a slow year for Hilary, which is why she didn't make the list. This claim is sort of true, Hilary didn't release any new music in '06 and her touring schedule was cut back considerably from previous years. Still though, I can guarantee that Hilary Duff made more than $1 million dollars, which is what the #10 star on the list (JoJo) made.
I have a feeling that Forbes just made a mistake by leaving Hilary off the list. There's no way that they could actually think that Hilary Duff made less than $1 million dollars in 2006. No one knows exactly what she earns, but last year Rolling Stone reported that she made $17.1 million, and I think that was just for music. Even if this number dropped off slightly because of Hilary's "slow" 2006, it would still put her pretty high on this list.
Forbes Top-Earning Stars under 21 years of age:
01. Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen (20) - $40 million
02. Daniel Radcliffe (17) - $13 million
03. Lindsay Lohan (20) - $6 million
04. Dakota Fanning (13) - $4 million
05. Amanda Bynes (20) - $2.5 million
06. Hayden Panettiere (17) - $2 million
07. Vanessa Hudgens (18) - $2 million
08. Abigail Breslin (10) - $1.5 million
09. Tyler James Williams (14) - $1.2 million
10. Jojo (16) - $1 million

With Love Review - About.com
Another day, another positive review for Hilary Duff's new single With Love. This time it comes from Bill Lamb, the top 40 expert for About.com. Lamb has high praise for With Love stating, "Style and elegance combine with an irresistible hook to make a record difficult for pop radio to ignore." He describes the song as having "Electronic bleeps with hand-clapping and finger-snapping beats, sexy sultry vocals, and a crunchy dance-rock guitar." At the end of the review Lamb talks about how Hilary Duff hasn't managed to get much radio airplay, but he thinks this will change for With Love. He even goes as far as to say, "All signs point to the top 10 for With Love."
I love seeing these positive reviews. I just hope the reviews for the album will be as strong as the reviews for the single have been.

Hilary Duff talks about Brand Hauser / War Inc.
In a recent interview with LOGOonline, Hilary Duff talked about her new movie Brand Hauser... or is it called War Inc? We still don't know for sure what the movie will be called (right now it's Brand Hauser... but that could change), but this is what Hilary had to say about it:
I just did a movie called War, Inc. with John Cusack and Marisa Tomei and Ben Kingsley in Bulgaria. It was pretty crazy, and pretty different from me, the character that I played. It’s this oversexed Middle Eastern pop star who’s under the control of these really dirty sleazy guys who kind of make her be this type of person, and she does it and does it really well. Because she’s learned that’s how she can get what she wants. And it’s also like a safety thing, because it takes place in a made-up country called Turagistan, and John plays this undercover assassin. He looks like he’s producing this big convention there that’s going to brand Turagistan into America. There are bombs going off everywhere, but there’s a Dr. Scholl’s store, and a Gibson Amp & Guitar store going up everywhere. So it’s kind of crazy and it just shows how screwed up it is when we go into these places that aren’t supposed to look like or be America and try and make it that. It’s really funny, but it’s really creative and twisted, too. And it proves a point. I get to play someone totally opposite from who I am, so it’s fun. But the movie also shows that she’s not really that person, and she doesn’t want to be that.

Haylie Duff on Oscar Night
Haylie Duff attended The Envelope Please Oscar Viewing Party last night for the 79th Academy Awards. No word on what Hilary was doing for the Oscars, but I'm guessing she was preparing for her upcoming trip to Europe. Hilary will be in Europe later this week promoting Dignity and With Love.

Hilary Duff does not win Razzie
While she was nominated for the third straight year, Hilary Duff again failed to win a Razzie Award - the annual awards that "honor" the worst movies and acting performances of the year. Hilary and Haylie shared a worst-actress nomination for Material Girls. This was the third time Hilary was nominated for worst actress, but she has never won the award.
Sharon Stone, star of Basic Instinct 2, swept the worst film, worst actress, worst screenplay and worst prequel or sequel categories.
