Beauty Book Launch - November 14, 2011

Pregnant Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were out for the launch of the Beauty Book for Brain Cancer on Monday night. Hilary showcased her bump in a yellow dress, while Mike looked sharp in a charcoal suit.

Hilary wants Career after Baby

Hilary Duff has commented about her career plans after she has her baby boy.

She told E! Online that she still wants to do music and might even go back on tour:

"I want to get into the studio. I want to start recording. Even if I just mess around and kind of get myself in the swing of it. Before I got pregnant I was thinking about making a record so I still want to do that. I think that after I have the baby I'll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom and then there's no reason why I can't put a record out and tour...It might take a little while but I'm really excited about it."

It's nice to see Hilary still thinking about her music career, but she's said similar things in the past with no results. I have a feeling that it's going to be a long time before we see any new music from her.

In the same E! Online article Hilary hinted at maybe writing a child's novel. Given her recent success as an author I think that's much more likely than new music in the short term.

Hilary Duff took her dog Lola to the Veterinarian on Tuesday afternoon. She then tweeted a picture of Lola.

Hilary on Chelsea Lately and Ellen

Hilary Duff was on Chelsea Lately last night. She talked about her wedding day disaster of losing her tooth, and talked about her pregnancy and the strange dreams that come along with it. Hilary also talked about her new book Devoted.



Hilary was also on the Ellen show yesterday where she revealed that she will be having a baby boy. Ellen gave Hilary a gift - a hockey outfit for the baby. Hilary thanked Ellen for the gift in a behind the scenes video.

Hilary having a Baby Boy

Hilary Duff revealed on the Ellen Degeneres show on Monday that she is indeed having a baby boy.

Hilary has hinted last week that she was having a boy by telling MTV News:

"Everyone else says it's a girl, but I think it's a boy. I'd be happy with a girl, but my sister's like, 'You can't keep saying that, because then when it's a girl, everyone's gonna be like, 'You really wanted a boy!' I don't care what I get, but every time I think about it or dream about it, I see a boy."

Did Hilary correctly predict she was having a boy, or did she secretly know all along? I guess we'll never know.

Once again, congrats to Hilary and Mike!
