Material Girls Box Office Update
In it's second weekend in theaters, Material Girls made $2,202,582 coming in 13th place. The movie dropped 52% from last weekend. After 10 days Material Girls has made a total of $8,392,810.
Nobody was expecting Material Girls to set the box office on fire, but these numbers are still disappointing. A 52% drop from the first to second weekend isn't good, and the movie's per theater average was among the lowest of all the major movies.
Because of the low numbers, Material Girls will most likely be dropped from many theaters next week. I think it will be able to make over $10 million, but not much more.
