New Movie - She Wants Me

Hilary Duff has been cast in the new independent movie She Wants Me that has just started filming.

Variety had a description of the plot:

"Follows the tale of a neurotic writer Sam, played by Josh Gad who is making his next feature film and becomes conflicted after Duff's A-list starlet character shows interest in playing the lead role, which he has already promised to girlfriend and struggling actress, Sammy, played by Kristen Ruhlin."

It's unclear whether this will be a light romantic comedy, or something a bit darker. Director Rob Margolies has directed one other film, Lifelines which dealt with a dysfunctional family. That movie was apparently a fairly dark comedy. It will be interesting to see if She Wants Me is similar.
