Nicole Richie Makes Fun of Joel about Hilary
According to US Weekly, Nicole Richie likes to make fun of her boyfriend Joel Madden for dating Hilary Duff:
A source tells Us Weekly that Nicole Richie, 26, teases Joel Madden, 28, about his two-and-a-half-year relationship with singer-actress Hilary Duff, 20. She will ask if he’s going to watch Lizzie McGuire DVDs or listen to Hilary’s albums," says the source. "Joel tells her she’s being out of line."
A lot of people seem to think that Nicole is being mean to Hilary by saying these things, but I think she's probably just joking around and just says those things to get under Joel's skin.

Hilary Duff turned things around for us
Disney's music chairman Bob Cavallo in a recent Variety article credited Hilary Duff for paving the way for the success of some of Disney's current stars. "Hilary Duff was the model. She became a Channel star and made a mainstream record that sold 3.9 million units. She certainly turned things around for us." The article also mentions that a new album from Hilary is "on the horizon", although it isn't clear if this means a completely new CD, or just a re-release of Dignity.
