Portrait Magazine 2008 Top 30 Under 30

Hilary Duff is #24 on Portrait Magazine's 2008 Top 30 Under 30 list:

24. With Dignity - Hilary Duff
Born: September 28, 1987

It isn't easy growing up in the spotlight but unlike some of her fellow Hollywood starlets, Hilary still manages to be a positive example that growing up doesn't necessarily mean growing out of control. And with her array of projects from her perfume and clothing line, to her music and acting career, Hilary shows that you really can have it all without falling apart. Is there a more positive role model for teenage girls today in Young Hollywood than Miss Duff?

What's Next: As well as the follow-up album to Dignity, Hilary fans can also look forward to seeing much of the Duffster on the big screen, with the following films lined up for release in the next year or so – Stay Cool with Winona Ryder and Sean Astin, War Inc with John Cusack, Greta with Ellen Burstyn, Safety Glass with Amanda Peet, and the animated Foodfight with Eva Longoria.

New York Times Blog Reviews With Love Perfume

Although it has been on the market for some time now and isn't even Hilary's most recent scent, New York Times blog The Moment reviewed Hilary Duff's perfume fragrance With Love recently.

The 2 star review was mostly positive - more or less saying that Hilary's scent isn't ground breaking, but pleasant and unique at the same time.

The last few sentences of the review did a good job in describing the perfume:

"A scent one might encounter were one lucky enough to be hugged close to the suntanned neck of a pretty volleyball player on a Malibu beach: a bit of sunscreen, a hint of the breeze from the California hills and the smell of a girl who really knows how to play at the net. Were you not to know the scent’s celebrity origins, you would be left, as she released the hug and rushed happily back into the game, with the impression of olfactory sweetness and the white of her smile. You would not be torn. You would simply smile back."

War Inc 10th Weekend Box Office Results

In the 10th weekend of release, War Inc made $16,469 at the box office playing on 25 screens. Just when I thought War Inc's theatrical run was pretty much over, it adds 5 screens and is up 35% from last weekend. Although the $658 per theater average still isn't much to write home about.

War Inc has made a total of $564,605. We'll see if John Cusack and the War Inc team is able to continue to get the movie played at more theaters in the upcoming weeks.
