Changes to the Blog

I have made some changes to this blog to hopefully make it better and easier to use. Here are some of the changes:

Comments are now accepted.
If you would like to make a comment you can do so by using the form at the end of each post. Comments will be moderated. As soon as I approve your comment it will be added to the end of the post. Comments that contain blatant spam, flaming, trolling, or anything mean spirited will not be posted. Also do not post personal information like your last name, email, phone number, or where you live. It is OK to post your honest opinion even if it is negative, but just don't be mean about it. NOTE: Hilary does not read this blog, so if you post a comment directed at her I will probably not post it!

Share Posts.
If you see a post you want to share on facebook, twitter, or many other sites it is now easy to do by simply clicking on the buttons at the end of each post that look like this:
Clicking on "SHARE" will bring up many sharing options.
You can also email a post by clicking on the envelope that looks like this:

Subscribe and Follow:
Subscribe to the blog in RSS by clicking the RSS Icon on the right side of the page, or add the blog directly to Google Reader, My Yahoo, or My MSN.

You can also become a follower of the blog on Google Friend Connect. I'm not really familiar with this service, but there are already quite a few followers of this blog so people must be using it! Click "Follow" at the very top of the blog, or click the button that looks like this on the lower right side of the blog:

Archives are easier to use:
Before the archives were just a list of the weekly posts. Now you can sort through the archives using the little triangle arrows. Go to individual posts, or click on a time period to view all the posts from that period.

Hilary wears clothes from Beauty & the Briefcase

Some very observant people at HilaryFan have noticed that Hilary Duff has been wearing some of the clothes from Beauty & the Briefcase in her everyday life. Hilary said on Regis and Kelly that she picked a lot of the wardrobe choices in the movie, and got to keep some of the clothes.

Thanks to Josh and lizziecena at HilaryFan for pointing these out.

Beauty & the Briefcase Ratings

Beauty & the Briefcase premiered with 2.346 million viewers according to this source.

In comparison to similar ABC Family movies, My Fake Fiance (same director as Beauty & the Briefcase) premiered with over 3.6 million viewers.

Labor Pains starring Lindsay Lohan had 2.1 million viewers.

Picture This
starring Ashley Tisdale did a little better with 5.3 million.

So it looks like Beauty & the Briefcase was about average, or maybe a little below average compared to similar movies.

If you didn't get a chance to see the movie, it is now on iTunes.

This is a few days old, but in case you missed it Hilary Duff was on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Most of the talk was about Beauty & the Briefcase, and engagement and wedding talk.

Hilary and Haylie - April 18, 2010

Hilary and Haylie Duff went shopping on Sunday at Planet Beauty Supply in Studio City. Nice to see those two together, it seems like we never see that anymore.

Also on Saturday Hilary and Mike went to lunch at Laurel Tavern in Studio City. Hilary was wearing a black dress.

Music not a Priority for Hilary

Hilary Duff talked about Beauty & the Briefcase in a recent Entertainment Tonight segment. The most interesting part of the video could be when Hilary talked about her music career. She said that music has been "on the back burner" for a while, and "I'm sure I'll do it again but it hasn't really been a priority."

So all of you looking for a new Hilary Duff album in the next couple of years, you are probably out of luck.
