Bloodworth Movie News

It's been a while since I had heard anything about Hilary Duff's new movie Bloodworth. When I last wrote about it the title was Provinces of Night (based on a book of the same title).

The movie was announced in early 2009 and was originally rumored to be starring Toby Keith.

In April of 2009 Hilary was spotted on the set, but since then there wasn't much news about Bloodworth.

It appears the movie is finally finished. It is now starring Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam and Val Kilmer. Hilary's love interest is played by Reece Thompson.

Bloodworth played at the 2010 Nashville film festival last April as a work in progess, and is scheduled to play there again in 2011. The movie also played at the Austin Film Festival in October.

While Bloodworth looks interesting, early reviews have been mixed. I'm guessing it won't see a substantial theatrical release, but you never know.

Hilary Duff is Lady Gaga Fan

Hilary Duff revealed on Twitter that she is a Lady Gaga fan. She attended a Gaga concert in Pittsburgh.

Hilary first tweeted:

Going to see lady gaga in Pittsburgh with my favorite! Soo pumped! Baby I was born this way!!!

and then later:

Hola tweetybirds!Still coming down off of my lady gaga crush! She's pretty bad ass. What a show!
