Bloodworth starts slow at Box Office

The new Hilary Duff movie Bloodworth had a slow opening weekend at the box office. The film was playing on 10 screens across the country, and managed to make $9612.

Obviously Bloodworth is a small movie with little to no marketing budget, but this number is still disappointing. Assuming each theater showed the film ten times over the weekend at $10 per ticket, that means on average only 10 people showed up for each showing of the movie.

The poor box office performance probably means that Bloodworth won't be expanding to many more theaters in the coming weeks.
