Hilary back at LAX - Reads Ellen Burstyn book
Hilary Duff returned to Los Angeles on Thursday February 7, 2008. While at LAX Airport she was spotted carrying her Greta co-star Ellen Burstyn's book Lessons in Becoming Myself.

Attempting to shed her Disney Channel persona, Duff has gone from dating Aaron Carter (which created a cat fighting feud with Lindsay Lohan) to dating Joel Madden, famous for having an awful band.Shooting to fame with 12 year old girls and perverted old men in 2002 with her hit Disney Channel show, Lizzie McGuire, Duff recorded several songs for the Disney Channel.
Her first album, Santa Claus Lane (2002) reached gold status. Duff’s second album, coming in 2003 and entitled Metamorphosis left little room for the illiterate (Get that awesome pun?), but reached #1 on the U.S. and Canadian charts.
Duff has also become a serious actor, classified with the likes of Marlon Brando, Tom Hanks and Halle Berry.Duff has various highly acclaimed, award winning masterpieces such as In Search of Santa and the upcoming motion picture war film entitled Foodfight!Hilary Duff and Joel Madden broke up in 2006, and Duff later began dating NHL player Mike Comrie of the New York Islanders.The two have not been very public about their relationship, likely to Comrie’s embarrassing numbers on the score-sheet.
Hoping to keep his rock star(?) girlfriend for a bit longer, Comrie purchased a $100,000 Mercedes for Duff’s 20th birthday. We all hope that Comrie can still continue playing hockey at his standard mediocre level long enough to pay for her 21st birthday gift as well.

Hilary Duff Swears - Says F Word
Hilary Duff says that she thinks it is unattractive to use curse words, but at the same time she admits to swearing every once in a while.
When asked what her favorite swear word was during the Hot30 countdown on B105 in Australia Hilary said:
"I guess, sometimes a good f*ck, like just saying f*ck, makes you feel pretty good, you know? It’s such not a nice word at all. Like, really, like sometimes I’ll like not know somebody and they’ll walk by, and they’ll be a really pretty girl, and she'll say it I’m like, ‘eww! That’s not attractive.’ But like really, nothing else makes you feels that good, sometimes as like letting a good one out, right?"

This isn't the first time Hilary has been recorded dropping the F-Bomb. When Hilary was on "Punk'd" she used it during her fake driving lesson. The scene did not air on TV, but was released as a DVD extra.

Brisbane and Melbourne Concert Reviews
A couple of Australian news sources have reviewed Hilary's latest shows in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Brisbane show reviewed by Pubs and Clubs:
"Her young, mostly female audience crowded into the Brisbane Entertainment Centre to witness Hilary’s high-energy performance, backed by an ensemble of finely-tuned and fit dancers. Along with her outstanding band the action was non-stop; Hilary looked petite and pretty on stage in various outfits to fit the music - from a sexy metallic playsuit to a fringed miniskirt and a lot of bare skin, not to mention the high heels.
A range of energetic songs filled the show including Beat Of My Heart, Getaway, Pat Benatar’s Love Is A Battlefield and a cover of the Go Go’s Our Lips Are Sealed. Every song was welcomed by adoring screams from the audience prompting Hilary to thank the crowd for their keenness."

"Duff, dressed more like Avril Lavigne than Hannah Montana, was quick to feign shock at both the size of the crowd and the number of signs they brought with them. This was, she informed us, the last show of her world tour.
In interviews last week, Duff vehemently declared that she sings live vocals. Yet to the untrained eye (and ear), this did not seem to be the case. Whether it was actually lip-syncing, or singing over a backing tape or the fact that her live vocals sound like a vocoder, there was something decidedly awry about her vocal performance.
Her best songs are openly and happily derivative. To prove it on Sunday, her hit Beat of My Heart segued into a cover of the Go Gos' Our Lips Are Sealed. She later slaughtered Pat Benatar's Love Is a Battlefield."

Miley Cyrus talks about Hilary
In a recent interview with MTV, Miley Cyrus talked about how she looks up to Hilary Duff:
"MTV: I've heard you look up to Hilary Duff in particular. Is that right?
Cyrus: Yeah, because she's on Disney, or was on Disney Channel, and she's kind of set the way for all of us, not only just in a business sense, but [by] saying that it is OK to be a good girl. Like, that's cool! It's kind of just given us all inspiration to go out. Whether it was her or not, I would definitely be doing what I'm doing, but she definitely made it more acceptable.
MTV: Is she someone you'd like to follow, to have a career like hers?
Cyrus: For sure. I wanna do it my own way, and I have different ways. [But] she's very vocal about it as well. She likes going out and talking about being a good role model. [Similarly,] in the things I do, like a 3-D movie, where you get to see that it's not fake, it's not just being at an interview and saying, "Yeah, I wanna be a good girl." It's really showing you making right decisions in the movie.
MTV: Have you ever gotten a chance to talk to her? What was the best piece of advice she's ever given you?
Cyrus: It was basically just, "Remember why you do what you do — 'cause you love it." I mean, it definitely stinks when there's an early call time and it's not the best part when you're doing the same thing over and over. There's downs. But remember why you do it. It's not only because you love the business side of it, but looking out and seeing girls smile, you know. When there's not much, when they're going through a negative time in their life, being the one positive thing that they can hold on to, I mean, that's really amazing."

Aaron Carter - Myspace Message for Hilary
Pink Is The New Blog has reported that Aaron Carter posted a message to Hilary Duff on his Myspace page that shows that Aaron might still have feelings for Hilary:
Pink reader Kasey gave me the heads up that Aaron Carter has updated his official My Space profile with a cryptic message for "Hilary" -- which would imply, Hilary Duff, his ex-girlfriend from waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. Here is a screen shot and the full text of Aaron's message to Hilary:
EVERYBODY MAKES MISTAKES, BUT YOU LIVE AND YOU LEARN. HILARY WHEN YOUR READY. IM HERE. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR WHOMEVER PUT THIS TOGETHER. IT MEANS A LOT TO ME.
The thank you is in regards to a You Tube video that some fan named SCSweetdude16 in tribute to the love that Aaron and Hilary used to share when they were together and wishes they still shared today ... and is posted right underneath his message (click HERE to watch it -- it'll make more sense). Hahhahahaha ... could a reconciliation be in the works? Could Aaron and Hilary make it work again? Some blogs and websites have been reviewing Hilary Duff's newest perfume fragrance Wrapped With Love.
Fragrantica called the scent a "perfect gift for St. Valentine's Day, as it comes in charming pink colored bottle with green top."
All About the Pretty had this to say: "I'm wearing a sample and can't wait to get a big bottle at the end of the month. This is a light, yet decadent spring scent. So my pre-spring fragrance choice is Hilary Duff's Wrapped With Love. Some celebrity scents are just awful, but after falling for her first fragrance I knew that Hilary wouldn't let me down. It contains notes of blood orange, mangosteen, and raspberry with a hint of vanilla for the finish. Is this package not the cutest thing you've seen in a long time?
