Hilary Duff Stalker Sentenced to Jail

The Associated Press is reporting that 18-year-old Maksim Myaskovskiy was sentenced to 117 days in jail and 5 years probation on Friday after pleading no contest to stalking Hilary Duff.

There was speculation that the tension caused by this stalker was ultimately to blame for the breakup between Hilary Duff and former boyfriend Joel Madden. With the stalker behind bars Hilary will be able to rest easy. And if he tries anything after he gets out of jail you can bet Hilary's security team will be all over it.

Another New Picture of Hilary Duff in Los Angeles

Hilary has been out and about in LA a lot in the past couple of days. I'm guessing she is hard at work on her new album and is being spotted on the way to and from the studio.
