Hilary Duff in new Spider-Man Movie?

The internet is buzzing about the possibility of Hilary Duff having a role in the upcoming re-boot of the Spider-Man franchise. Apparently Hilary is in possession of the script, which was reported in an article about Hilary and Mike's newlywed life together.

Obviously just having the script in her possession doesn't mean that Hilary is even close to landing a part, but it's interesting to see that she's looking into these types of roles. Hopefully she can get back into a big studio movie eventually, if not Spider-Man, then maybe something else down the road. I don't mind seeing her do indies either, but it's been a while since she's been on the big screen in a wide release.
