Our long national Bonnie and Clyde nightmare is over, as Hilary Duff has been dropped from the non-existent film.
TMZ is reporting the filmmakers are "shopping for a new Bonnie, and the split was amicable."
Kevin Zegers was supposed to play Clyde, but he is also being replaced due to scheduling conflicts.
Filming is "scheduled" to begin this fall, but then again it was also supposed to begin last fall and again this spring. Fool me twice, shame on...
UPDATE: August 30, 2011:
It's being widely reported that Hilary got a $100,000 buyout severance package for being terminated from the project.
