A group of Hilary Duff fans has organized a "Reach Out Download Day" to be held on January 6, 2009.
Upset over a lack of promotion for the Reach Out song and video, fans are encouraging people to download the song on iTunes Tuesday to spring the song into the Billboard Hot 100.
This campaign is similar to the "Hilary Duff Attack Day" that was held on April 4, 2005 where fans were to buy a copy of Hilary's self titled album in an effort to get it back onto the charts. While many fans bought the album on that day the overall effort did not work as the album did not re-appear on the chart in subsequent weeks. I'm assuming "Download Day" will have similar results, but everyone should still do their part and download the song on January 6th.
