Hilary Duff to Perform for Military Families at Fort Bragg - August 1, 2006

The Armed Forces Foundation has issued the following press release detailing a concert that Hilary Duff will be doing for Military Families on August 1st:

"Hilary Duff, the multi-platinum recording artist and concert headliner, star of television and films, designer and philanthropist, will perform for 9,000 troops from Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base at a concert on Aug. 1 to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation. The concert, from the Hilary Duff Benefit Concert Series, is made possible through the Armed Forces Foundation - Hilary Duff Charity Partnership. Hilary Duff and the Foundation began working together nearly two years ago. Understanding the hardships military families face, Hilary felt compelled to use her talents to brighten their lives.

Each year Hilary provides the Armed Forces Foundation a number of free tickets and backstage passes for select military families to her shows around the country. Generally, these families have had to travel to the closest concert venue on Hilary's tour to see her. Now Hilary is devoting an entire concert to military families. Hilary is holding the free concert for those stationed at Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base and their families. The concert will be held at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C. Showtime begins at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 1.
